Position Vacant - Qualified Painter
We are looking for an ambitious and hardworking person who is keen to pursue a career with the ACT Small Employer of the Year.
This position would suit a person with at least 2 years experience as a Qualified Painter.
We are able to offer full time or flexible employment arrangements.
We do not engage sub-contractors.
You will be employed under the Modern Award MA000020 with pay rates and entitlements above award for the right applicants.
We offer additional training, career pathways into supervision/management roles, BBQ's, golf days, ski trips and other incentives.
Tools and uniform (shirts and hoodies) will be provided.
Personal Requirements:
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Able to cope with the physical demands of the job
- Able to communicate effectively with fellow staff members and clients
- Able to work at heights
- Enjoy practical work
- Ability to give and receive directions/feedback
- Normal colour vision
- A willingness to learn
- Able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Steel cap boots
- OH&S White Card and Asbestos Awareness training is highly desirable, but may be obtained prior to commencement.
- Working with Vulnerable People registration is highly desirable, but may be obtained prior to commencement.
